Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I was impressed by a kind hospitalist when my grandpa had a terminal illness. A special mentor further inspired me to pursue family medicine, and it is a real service to the community. The practice of medicine prompts me to continue learning, keeps me humble about the knowledge I do have, and enables me to use it for others.
What I want my patients to know about me:
My goal is to equip my patients with the best tools and knowledge that I can. I want to work with them to achieve their greatest degree of wellness.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
My wife and two beautiful daughters fill my other moments with laughter. My various hobbies include skiing, scuba diving, aviation, and reading good novels.
