Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I was always interested in medicine but after having children I decided to go to nursing school. After being an Emergency Room nurse for 22 years, I wanted more, which led me to nurse practitioner school. I always wanted to help people and continue learning on a daily basis.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am a good listener. If I don't know the answer or where you could find assistance, I will continue with your care until I could.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I like to read, cook, bake, watch the grandchildren and travel.
