Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Practicing medicine has been the only career option I've longed to do since my younger years. I love helping others and educating so that individuals are able to manage their health properly at home. I also love to learn. Medicine is always evolving, which causes me to constantly educate myself on the latest treatment modalities.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I chose urgent care as my specialty because I love the variety that we see throughout the day. I like that I have to think on my toes because you never know what will walk through the door. My second love is hospice and palliative medicine, which I will likely return to much later in my career.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I'm not seeing patients, I spend time at home with my two dogs and my significant other. I love to read books for leisure. I also spend a lot of time with my family going shopping, eating or just relaxing and having some good laughs.
