Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

After accompanying a family member to the emergency department when I was in junior high, I was able to watch all that nurses do for their patients, especially during an accident with multiple injured patients. I immediately knew that nursing was for me.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I take pride in listening to the patients' needs - both verbal and nonverbal.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I can usually be found at sporting events with my children. I also enjoy reading, singing and volunteering at my church.
