Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I was lucky to have very positive role models in healthcare growing up, following the examples set by my father and brother into medicine. I combined this early experience in medicine with my love of technology into the field of radiology. I have completed additional training as an interventional radiologist, or a doctor who is a specialist in minimally invasive procedures using imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, and/or CT) for diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of diseases, such as liver cancer, uterine fibroids or spine fractures.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I specialize in interventional oncology (minimally invasive procedures for liver, kidney, lung, or bone cancers), uterine fibroid embolization via the radial artery, compression fracture management and venous disease (including IVC filter management). I also have a strong interest in patient education, working closely with patients to understand what treatment options may be best for them.
