Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
As an internist, I get to take care of my patients in a very wholesome manner. I get an opportunity to share some of the happiest, as well as some of the challenging moments of my patients' lives. Understanding the human mind and body can be a daunting task, I find my patients teaching me more about medicine every day than any book could ever do!
What I want my patients to know about me:
My role as your primary care physician will be to help you make informed decisions; guided not only by your preferences, but also evidence-based science. As we make these shared decisions, I want my patients to take accountability for the health choices they make. Never be afraid to speak up. Good communication is a must for an effective team.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
My free time is mostly spent with family. I enjoy playing tennis and other outdoor activities. I also love traveling and experiencing new cultures.
