Summit Endowment exists to identify and address the area’s health needs by supporting the development of programs and activities of non-profit organizations that will measurably improve the health of our neighbors.
The Summit Endowment provides grants to non-profit (501c3) organizations in the area for collaborative, outcome-focused projects that address health issues affecting residents in Summit Health's service areas.
The Summit Endowment Committee, a committee of the WellSpan Summit Health Board, serves as the Grant Review Committee and maintains independent authority to review proposed projects, award funds, and monitor progress of funded projects.
To date, the Endowment has awarded 264 grants to local organizations for a total of more than $6.5 million.

The Greencastle-Antrim Endowment, a component of Summit Endowment, offers scholarships to graduating seniors from Greencastle-Antrim High School who are pursuing a degree in health care.
