Community grant opportunities

Imagine

Imagine Grants are WellSpan’s largest grants, typically between $500,000 and $750,000. Available occasionally and by invitation only, these multi-year, high-impact grants allow us to partner to implement innovative, transformative solutions that advance community health improvement priorities. Grants are renewable for up to three years and require a focus on topic areas prioritized by WellSpan.

Inspire

Inspire Grants, typically awarded in the amount of $50,000 or less, are available for new or expanded projects that can demonstrate measurable impact in the advancement of our Community Health Improvement Plan in Adams, Cumberland, Lancaster, Lebanon or York counties.

Community health reports

Spark

Spark Grants of up to $10,000 are available to organizations who need help with emergent needs impacting the health and well-being of residents in Adams, Cumberland, Lancaster, Lebanon or York County communities. Grants will be awarded if funding is available.

Summit Endowment

Summit Endowment Grants are available to non-profit organizations to fund new or expanded projects exclusively serving Franklin County and Shippensburg residents. Projects should demonstrate measurable impact in the advancement of our Community Health Improvement Plan.

Prepare a letter of inquiry (LOI)

An LOI is typically required as the first step of the grant application process. Prepare to submit it for our review.

LOI review

Our team will review your LOI and notify you if you’re invited to submit a full application.
