We offer a variety of four-week elective clinical rotations at hospitals and clinical settings across our system.
Our medical student education programs offer the benefits of learning within a large integrated health system. Our hospitals boast clinical expertise in many areas, including:

- advanced surgical treatments

You must be a third- or fourth-year medical student attending an accredited medical school in the U.S. to be considered for rotation.
We use a standard version of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Uniform Clinical Training Affiliation Agreement personalized for WellSpan Health. If you’re not a student at Drexel University College of Medicine, your medical school will need to use the WellSpan agreement.
Specialties and eligibility vary as outlined below. We don’t offer two-week or split rotations, observerships or shadowing. Some departments pre-screen, including Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, OB, Orthopedic Surgery and Surgery; further instructions will be included in the correspondence to the rotation request form.
