As one of the largest regional health care systems in South Central Pennsylvania, we're happy to work with media partners while protecting our patients' privacy rights. All media inquiries must go through the WellSpan communications department, including interview and patient condition requests.

General media information

Interview and patient condition requests

WellSpan communications team members will make available our doctors and other subject matter experts to assist with timely production of topical stories when possible. We can provide a patient's condition if the individual chooses to be listed in our facility directory.

Media escort

A member of the WellSpan communications team or designated staff member must always accompany members of the media when on WellSpan property. To protect the privacy of our patients, any unannounced members of the media will be asked to leave WellSpan's property immediately.

Media live shots

To protect the privacy of our patients, live shots are not allowed on WellSpan property. WellSpan communications team members can provide a list of public property locations as a safe alternative.
