Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I enjoy having conversations with people about their life experiences. A career in medicine gives me an opportunity to meet and learn from people from all walks of life. I feel privileged to be in a position to help guide them through their wellness journey, and at times of need. Though I did not realize it when making my career choice, I am very grateful that I chose this profession as I have become much more compassionate and empathetic through my experience of caring for patients and families over the years. Every day I am energized to do my best.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am fun-loving individual, who enjoys a healthy conversation about all aspects of life. I am very approachable, personable and trustworthy. I am a firm believer in the saying: “There is a hierarchy of responsibility but not of respect." So I treat everyone with respect.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I like to spend time with my family. I love nature, so one of my favorite things to do on my day off is to take long walks in nature. I am a runner. I love to travel, and I love food.
