About Me

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in medicine because my interest was sparked at a young age by an aunt who was a registered nurse. She would give me books on medicine and anatomy books. Reading these as a child led to a greater interest in science and medicine.

What I want my patients to know about me:

When patients come to an appointment with me, I pride myself in being thorough. I try to be compassionate and hear the patient out to try to get to the root of their problems. I also keep up to date with the most effective therapies. I enjoy conversation with my patients, as feedback from previous care is important in learning and I appreciate the trust they have in me.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients I enjoy being with my family and taking my dog Molly on long walks. I love to garden and take care of my lawn and home. I am also active in my church and their media team, and attending events that my sons are involved in.
