Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
As long as I can remember, I have felt the happiest when I have been able to help others take control over their lives. That, combined with my love of science, athletics, learning about the world and connecting with people made sports medicine a natural choice.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all non-operative sports injuries. My areas of expertise include diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound guided injections, nerve hydro-dissection, Tenex, percutaneous needle tenotomy and barbotage, platelet-rich plasma therapy, as well as exercise prescription and concussion management. I have a strong interest in the care of performing artists, especially musicians and dancers, stemming from a deep love of musical theater and Bollywood films.
I’m a native New Yorker, but completed my training at ChristianaCare, where I served as Chief Resident and then as a Sports Medicine Fellow. During fellowship, I had the privilege of serving as a team physician at the University of Delaware and at several local high schools.
I hope to broaden the reach of sports medicine care to include everyone who wants to live an active life and find nonsurgical solutions to help patients have the highest quality of life possible.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I pride myself on finding the best local restaurants and coffee shops, cooking (and eating) all kinds of food, baking, browsing bookstores, relaxing at the beach, catching a show on Broadway, but most commonly, you can find me spending quality time with the people I love.
