Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

When I was a teenager, my parents were in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. I spent a lot of time in hospitals and at doctor's visits with them, which piqued my interest in medicine.

What I want my patients to know about me:

My husband and I own a small farm. My dream is to raise most of my own food as well as using the farm to teach others a love of the land and how to eat a healthier diet.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I recently learned to knit, and I create stained glass pieces. I also enjoy baking artisan breads, boating, water skiing and downhill skiing. My husband and I also enjoy international travel and going on mission trips with our church.
