Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Like most, I have been a consumer of healthcare for my entire life. I have had many good encounters, and just as many bad encounters, as a patient. I became a nurse with the goal of helping others to have more good than bad encounters with every patient interaction in which I was involved. I went on to become a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to continue providing compassionate care.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am a caring person with a boisterous personality. I approach each patient interaction with the goal of hearing your concerns and addressing those concerns to the best of my ability. If I don't know the answer to a question or the best approach to dealing with a problem, I will do everything I can to find the right answer or course of action.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I am happily married to my high-school sweetheart and we have two daughters - one in college and one in high school. We love to travel in our RV, mostly to places where there is a nearby beach! I am an animal lover and am passionate about rescuing animals of all species - I currently have a dog, three cats, a guinea pig, and a pet rat.
