Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I grew up in an environment where becoming a doctor was a sure way to be recognized and make your family happy and proud! But what really pushed me was that my mother suffered advanced COPD due to recurrent bronchitis. Her struggle for breathing made me so sad and instilled in me the ultimate desire and resolve to be a doctor. I did not have the chance to alleviate her breathing difficulty as a doctor but I do my best for her through every patient I can help.
What I want my patients to know about me:
a As a Family Doctor, I am certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of American Academy of Family Medicine for over 20 years. I am interested in the wide scope of outpatient family medicine from newborn to elder care with special interest in preventive care and small office procedures. This has enabled me to care for Lebanon County patients with efficiency, state of the art quality medicine and cost effectiveness.
I believe that practicing medicine is a higher calling and not just a job. Patients are not customers or clients but neighbors and family.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I read religion and philosophy and play the Lute (a string instrument). I'm involved in different church worship and teaching activities.
I enjoy biking, walking and travelling. Spending time with my wife and 2 children is my utmost joy.
