Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I have always enjoyed learning new ideas and meeting new people. Everyone has a great story waiting to be told if you listen well enough and long enough. The art of medicine is about listening. A person's story about their health, their lives and their community tells you most of what you need to know to help them reach their goals for their health and life. A career in medicine gives me the opportunity to take part in another person's life story, which is why I choose this path for my life.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I feel taking care of others is a privilege, and it is my objective to help patients achieve their goals in life.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I spend most of my time when not seeing patient with family. I can often be spotted at my children's sporting events. When not there, I do enjoy hiking and cooking.
