Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I have always been interested in Women's Health. While working as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, I realized how much I loved pregnancy and childbirth and wanted to be an advocate for women during this important time. I became a Midwife in 2004 and have enjoyed caring for women and their families ever since.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I recently became a Board Certified Lactation Consultant and plan to become part of the WellSpan Breastfeeding Service. Breastfeeding moms continue to have many needs after being discharged from the hospital. I look forward to providing breastfeeding support for our patients throughout all stages of breastfeeding.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I have 2 children and spend all of my free time being a mom. I also love to travel and hope to travel abroad with my husband and children in the near future.
