Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

As a young girl, I saw what a positive influence a great nurse could make in scary situations and knew that I wanted to be part of that. From the start of my nursing career, I knew that my "home" was in Women's Health. I understand that a visit with a women's health care provider can feel like one of the most scary and intimidating times of your life. So many miss appointments out of fear and never schedule follow-ups because they don't feel comfortable. I wanted to make a change.

What I want my patients to know about me:

Knowing that obstetric and gynecological appointments can increase anxiety, I wanted to do my part in changing how these visits are conducted, one patient at a time. I love meeting, caring and educating patients in an outpatient setting. I strive to listen to each patient and care for them as I would my own family member. My goal is to make every person I care for feel comfortable with every aspect of the appointment.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

In my spare time, I cherish moments with my husband, two children, and two golden pups. I also have a love for entertaining, cooking, and baking!
