Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I love to teach. I enjoy sharing what I have learned (and am always learning) with my patients so they may be better informed and make smarter decisions in hopes for a high quality, longer life.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am human. I do not have all the answers, but I do my best to find them. I love to laugh. Laughing is very healthy.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy the outdoors with our 4 children and 2 large dogs. We are a very active family whether it be getting dirty in the garden, chopping wood for the fire, or exploring in the creeks - we are always in motion. I also love the arts and music, especially when created by my children. Encouraging imaginations and creating with them is very gratifying for me. I am also an avid CrossFitter and I am interested in using good old fashion whole foods for optimal nutrition.
