Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I grew up in a remote village of Nepal where there was no access to healthcare and many people died in their young ages, simply due to infections like typhoid fever. The sufferings that I witnessed my father go through when I was just a teenager and the degree of medical attention that he received to alleviate his symptoms, at least to some extent, provided me a profound motivation to be a doctor and infused deep inspiration into my growing soul to help the people while going through the darkest phases of their lives, the illness. During the journey of my life, I sensed an immense joy when I was able to help my friends and family members while they were not feeling well and fighting to achieve their usual state of health. I decided to dedicate myself to help the people in need to improve their health and wellness.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am a friendly person and enjoy a sense of humor. I want to know my patients and their families and learn their life stories and values. I am guided by honesty and humanity while dealing with challenging situations of my life.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love to play with my kids and watch them grow. Reading, biking, running and watching movies are my hobbies. I spend a lot of my time talking to my close friends and family members.
