Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
Pursuing a career in medicine has made me a better person overall. At school, biology was my most favorite subject. The human body is the most amazing science I have learned about. Pursuing a career in family medicine opened the door for me to touch other people's lives in a positive way. Being able to help others everyday is very rewarding and satisfying. When I take care of my patient over years , I become an important part of their lives, their happiness, struggles and triumphs, laughter and joy. This makes a career in medicine a journey worth completing well.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am here to help you and listen to you. My philosophy is every patient should be in control of their own health. I am just an advocate to help them making the right choices. I expect that my patients will be compliant and will not give up. I want them to believe in the old saying " Health is Wealth."
In my residency program, I was trained to practice standard evidence-based medicine—the guidelines made by the CDC, American College of Physicians, and the United States Preventative Task Force (USPSTF).
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I have some free time from my work and household chores, I love to spend time with my family. I have an autistic daughter which has made me more compassionate about special need children. I love to travel and explore new places and restaurants. I love to play on the piano and paint with acrylics. I love birds and spend time with my pet cockatiel and Macaw.
