Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Orthopedics is all about restoring quality of life. The patients I work with are motivated to get better so they can get back to the activities they enjoy. It is my aim, through orthopedic surgery, to help them achieve those goals.

What I want my patients to know about me:

The most rewarding part for me is seeing a patient return to function following the surgery. When a patient is able to return to a sport, occupation or hobby it is very satisfying. When the patient’s satisfaction turns to gratitude, it makes me feel good about the role I played in getting them back to their activity. The culture here is unique. All the providers and employees here have the patient as a top priority in everything they do each day. At the same time, we have a great support from upper management and the staff to be able to do our jobs as providers.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. When we can, we like to travel and discover new places. I also like spending time outdoors running, playing soccer, hiking and skiing.
