Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I want to help patients who are acutely ill or injured, or who have other urgent issues. I feel like I'm making a difference by being there for patients in the Emergency Department when they are having their worst days due to injury or illness. I also want to make an impact by teaching and building our network of future doctors and healthcare providers.

I also work in our WellSpan Department of Medical Education. Training the next generation of physicians and providers is critical to the health and well-being of our community and our country.
