Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I come from an underserved background in terms of health care. Therefore, I decided from an early age that I wanted to be a part of the solution. During my medical training, I realized how passionate I am about women’s health, and made the decision to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. I feel blessed to have the ability to offer both medical and surgical management to my patients when needed.

What I want my patients to know about me:

First and foremost, I will listen to you. I will also educate/guide you using evidence-based medicine, so that you are going to make an informed decision about your health. I believe in preventive care, and so we will talk about health goals at each visit. I look forward to meeting and caring for my patients.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love spending time with husband and two children. I enjoy going to the movies, restaurants, cooking, and visiting family/friends. I also like to write poetry and paint.
