Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I started out working as a nursing assistant during high school and found fulfillment and personal connection in that work. I graduated from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing in 2007 and started my career in the hospital setting working in intermediate care. I transitioned from a bedside nurse into a leadership role after seven years. I then attended Millersville University to obtain my BSN. From there, I chose to enroll in the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at Wilkes University. I am able to connect with geriatric clients in this role and help my patients to have the best quality of life possible.
What I want my patients to know about me:
My goal is to be the best provider I can to help you meet your personal goals. I believe a family-centered approach is essential when working with older adults and am happy to tailor your care plan to meet your needs.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love spending time outdoors riding my mountain bike with my family. I also enjoy reading. My favorite genre is suspense.
