Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in my 20s. I witnessed the amazing care that many nurses provided for her and wanted to do the same for others. This is the reason why I chose medicine.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have been a nurse practitioner for 6 years and and am honored to be working in palliative medicine helping patients make important decisions for themselves, symptom management, and end-of-life. I will do my best to act as my patient's advocate while receiving care.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I am most likely cooking, baking cookies and playing with my boys. My family likes to spend a lot of time outdoors, especially in the pool and camping. I am a twin and my sister and I like to go to sci-fi conventions together.
