Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My upbringing in Queens, New York provided me with the impetus to pursue a career where I could directly impact my community for the better. As an Emergency Medicine physician, I am able to combine my passion for the sciences and for teaching with my desire to help those most in need.

What I want my patients to know about me:

Teaching is one of my greatest passions. I experience a great sense of fulfillment by sharing my knowledge with others and l, in turn, am continuously learning from those around me. I am grateful to have the opportunity to help train the physicians of tomorrow. I truly enjoy speaking with patients in order to better understand their needs so that I can care for them to the best of my ability.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my wife and pets. Additionally, I enjoy going to the gym, playing sports, watching documentaries, cooking, traveling, and visiting theme parks.
