Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I saw several incidents in my early childhood where someone was injured and needed help. It made a deep, lasting impression on me, and my desire to practice medicine and help others was born.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I understand on a personal level how the loss of your health due to illness or injury affects your ability to do the things we enjoy, and the things we must do, on a daily level.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping and kayaking. In the winter, I downhill ski and continue to hike.
