Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner I was a registered nurse at the Chambersburg Hospital for many years. During my tenure as a staff nurse I was able to familiarize myself with several specialties in medicine. Urology was always very interesting to me with several aspects in patient care. After completing nurse practitioner school I knew this is where I wanted to spend my career practicing.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I moved here over 10 years to start my nursing career. My wife is from here and has family in the area. After having children we decided that it would be a great place to raise our family. We enjoy having family so close and that the kids get to spend time with them.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I really enjoy the outdoors. We have some farm animals on our property (chickens, barn cats) with plans on getting others in the future. The kids really love the animals. My family and I recently started going camping and that has provided us with many great memories and experiences. I also like to go hunting, fishing, and hiking.
