Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Like most, I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I truly enjoy helping and teaching people about his or her own health.

What I want my patients to know about me:

With over 20 years of acute care experience in cardiology and cardiac surgery, I want my patients to feel confident I can help guide them through the open heart surgery process.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy gardening, sewing, cooking and baking. I try to take a 3 to 4 mile walk as often as I can. I spend time with my parents, daughters and my sweet little grandson!
