Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have always enjoyed the challenge of learning new things, and medicine provides me the opportunity to do that constantly. I enjoy being able to meet a wide variety of people every time I go to work. I enjoy helping people, and medicine allows me to use my skills to help people every day.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have been a nurse for over 20 years. As an RN, the majority of my experience was in the emergency department before becoming a CRNP. I started at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital and have been with WellSpan Health my entire career.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love to spend time with my family and friends. I can usually be found helping out or cheering on the sidelines of the numerous activities and sports my children are involved in throughout the year. I enjoy vacationing with my family and friends, whether it be a nice beach vacation or camping by the river. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and many outdoor activities.
