Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I went into medicine because I found there was a need for more primary care physicians in our area. I was inspired by the family physicians that I saw as a child. They were compassionate and caring individuals and I wanted to grow up to be like them. I enjoy seeing patients from the very young to the very old. I enjoy interacting with people and trying to make a positive difference in their health.

What I want my patients to know about me:

As an osteopathic family physician, I believe in the importance of focusing on prevention of disease and treating the patient as a whole person not just a disease. I try to make a difference in your health by listening and partnering in your care.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending most of my free time with my husband and 5 beautiful children. Besides medicine my other passion in life is music. I play clarinet for various community concert bands. I enjoyed playing in chamber music groups also.
