Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I have wanted to be a surgeon most of my life. In high school my passion was art and I found biology fascinating, which lead to my interest in the medical field and ultimately podiatry. I love the diversity in patients and cases that the podiatry profession offers. I see patients anywhere from a few days old to over one hundred years old. As a podiatrist I have extensive experience in surgery, sports medicine and wound care.
What I want my patients to know about me:
My primary goal as a doctor is to improve my patient’s quality of life. From foot and ankle surgery to wound care, and everything in between, my goal is to get each of my patients back on their feet as quickly as possible. The most rewarding part of the profession is seeing patients leave the office or operating room in better shape than when they arrived.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When not seeing patients, I spend most of my time with my wife and two year old son. We love staying active going to local parks, walking in our neighborhood and visiting our friends and family. When I have the opportunity, I also love to hunt, fish, hike, bike, and camp.
