Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I began my career in medicine as a young teenager volunteering with the local ambulance company. I continued to gain knowledge of medicine as I worked as a military firefighter and later becoming a paramedic. My lifelong educational journey continued as I became a nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner. I dedicated my life to helping others so that they can recover from illness or injury. Albert Einstein said, “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile”, which best describes my commitment to caring for others and why I chose medicine as a career.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I'm dedicated to providing the best care possible to our patients and I believe that evidence-based medicine, along with collaboration between the medical team, ensures that each patient receives outstanding care. I will do everything I can to improve the quality of care for every patient.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children along with our two dogs, Tucker (a boxer/mastiff) and Chloe (Yorkipoo). Our family enjoys spending time in the outdoors and traveling to other countries.
