Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I am interested in science, and wanted to help improve people's health with my knowledge and skills. I also wanted to be a resource for my patients so that they can be educated about how to best manage their health and prevent disease.

What I want my patients to know about me:

My Otolaryngology practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the head and neck (i.e. tumors of the nose, throat, voice box, skin, saliva glands, & neck). I have training in the minimally invasive, technique of transoral robotic and laser surgery for tumors of the throat and voice box. I also have an interest in benign diseases of the salivary glands, and have training in sialendoscopy.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

For each of my patients, I endeavor to provide my complete attention, adeptly and appropriately apply my knowledge and skills, and serve as a patient advocate and resource. When I am not caring for patients, I spend most of my time with my beloved family (husband and 3 children).
