Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose this career as a teenager; actually, this career chose me. I have always loved to connect with, understand, and truly know people. My mother, a nurse, and my aunt, a social worker, laid the foundation while early experiences with opening our home to ailing relatives, foster children, and international exchange students sealed the deal.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I believe "everyone does the best that they can at that time" and it's "never too late" to make changes and heal. It is an honor and a privilege to walk a mile with my patients as they work to reach their personal goals.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband and dog. I enjoy hiking, biking, being active outdoors, visiting my adult children all over the country, hanging out with friends, and going on vacation.
