Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose medicine because I wanted to alleviate human suffering and improve wellbeing. Having grown up in a resource poor environment, I was motivated to study medicine so I could help people in their most vulnerable times.

What I want my patients to know about me:

My warmth, compassion, empathy and dedication to patient's health. My clinical knowledge and skills which help patients understand mental and physical illness and how we can work together to optimize overall wellbeing.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I spend time with my family, travel, hike, and cook or read a good fiction book.
