Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I was drawn to medicine because of the ever-changing intellectual challenges combined with a deep commitment to helping others. Serious illness involving oneself, family member or friend is one of the loneliest and most frightening experiences that a person can face. Trust in ones provider to share information and guide management decisions fosters the confidence necessary to tackle both the emotional and physical repercussions of illness. If you need me, I want to be there for you.
What I want my patients to know about me:
The health concerns of my patients are my priority. I look forward to establishing a satisfying relationship with my patients and their family members based on trust, care and service.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I have two sons with whom I am very close. I enjoy family time with my sons and mother, whether it be quiet time at home or time traveling abroad. This year has presented enormous challenges for all families. We pray that all can find comfort, relief and renewed hope for the future. Our church is my foundation along with the bonds to fellow parishioners and our community. Outside of work, I spend time with my beautiful black Labrador Retriever. I enjoy languages; I speak German and am currently studying modern Greek.
