Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

What started out as a summer job in middle school in my Aunt's family practice, introduced me to an environment that I could not forget. I admired how much her patient's trusted her and had confidence in the proposed treatment plan. Throughout my training, I saw a need for well trained physicians, specifically in primary care. Given that health outcomes involve many different aspects of one's life, I decided to pursue this as my career.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have a multicultural background and have actually lived in four different countries. Each experience has contributed to how I practice medicine and how I am able to connect with patients from different walks of life. From a cultural standpoint, I have learned how much of a privilege it is to give back to my community in this way.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I am a huge foodie who enjoys trying new places to eat (food trucks, restaurants and fairs alike). With this, one of my biggest goals moving forward, is to maintain an adequate amount of physical activity! I also enjoy traveling, outside activities, and spending time with family/loved ones.
