Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue medicine because the complexity of the human body is fascinating to me. I chose to become a physician assistant so I could use that fascination to help people and spend my days doing something I find enjoyable and worthwhile. I love that practicing in bariatric surgery allows me to truly change lives and prevent and treat long term medical issues.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy traveling to new places, spending time with my family and friends, playing with my dog and being outdoors.
