Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career in psychiatry because I strongly believe mental health is equally as important as physical health. This is often an underserved population and this role gives me the ability to positively impact the lives of these individuals.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am extremely passionate about the mental health field and strive to decrease the stigma that has been associated with it. Mental health is an important part of an individual's well-being and greatly affects quality of life. I believe my role as a nurse practitioner is to advocate for my patients, develop a plan of care that is mutually agreed upon, and improve functioning and overall well-being.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, you can find me spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy traveling to new places and being outdoors.
