Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Emergency Medicine is one of the few specialties where every single time I enter the department, I have the opportunity to help people through some of the most difficult and stressful times they may ever experience. While it can be stressful at times, knowing that I have done my best to help others in their time of need is the largest reward one could ever ask for.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am the Medical Director of Disaster Preparedness and Response for WellSpan Health. This role has allowed me to partner with many across our healthcare system as well as the larger region to help keep our patients and communities healthy and safe during even the most unusual of circumstances.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When not at work or spending time with my family, I am an avid tennis player as well as a lifelong practitioner of several martial arts. I also serve as a faculty member for our Emergency Medicine Residency Program, working with an excellent team to help train the next generation of physicians.
