Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I chose to pursue a career in medicine because of the opportunities to work with people everyday and the ongoing challenges it would provide. Working with people to help them achieve a desired or positive outcome is a rewarding part of the experience. The ever-changing field and need to continually learn, update, and adapt keeps me inspired to continue for many years to come.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want my patients to understand that I want to listen and work with them to determine the best possible solution for their problems or preventative goals. I will try my best to discuss options and utilize best practices by guiding them with their input. By doing this, we can determine the best step forward that combines all available factors and achieves everyone's goals.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not seeing patients, you can more than likely find me spending time with my young family. My other outside interests include sports of all types, with football being at the top of my list. Football, and sports in general, was a large part of my youth growing up and into my college years, and did continue into adulthood through coaching. I also enjoy regular exercise- running being my preferred method- with multiple Marathon finishes over the years.
