Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

The nursing profession chose me over 20 years ago. I love being in a profession that changes and is updated to provide the best care for the best outcomes for my patients. Being at bedside has brought me growth; I learn from my patients on how to be compassionate and adaptive to any situation.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have been in the acute care setting throughout my nursing career. I started as a certified nursing assistant and advanced to become a nurse practitioner.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I like to hike, run, mountain bike, snow board, and swim. I love to play softball and volleyball. I enjoy watching action/adventure movies.
