Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
My grandfather was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma when I was 16 years old. I was already interested in a career in medicine and after the Urologist performed his surgery, I started researching urology. I was drawn in by the diversity of the specialty. After completing urology clinical training in Pittsburgh, I knew urology was my calling.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I grew up in Carlisle, Pa. After living in the city for many years, I was excited to get back to the country and be closer to my family. I am excited to be back treating individuals from the region of Pennsylvania I grew up. I also have found, as an adult, to appreciate how localized we are to many lakes, mountains, hiking trails, but within driving distance of D.C., Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and even NYC.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love to bake/cook and trying new recipes, painting, exercising, reading, and most importantly spending time with my family and friends.
