Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Many of my family members work in the medical field. As a teenager, I thought I would break the mold and do something completely different. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with the profession when I was 18 years old and working a summer job in the hospital with my father. I just knew that it was where I belonged.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I, too, get frustrated when I am running behind schedule, but I promise that I will always listen fully to my patients when I am with them. I am honored that my patients have entrusted me with their health care.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

My family is the most important part of my life. I look forward to spending time with my husband and daughter while visiting our favorite travel destinations, the National Park Service parks of America. In my down time, I enjoy reading, going to the theater and playing music.
