Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I wanted to help people. I originally wanted to be a medical missionary and provide care for those less fortunate.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I really enjoy being a nurse practitioner. I like to take time with my patients and get to know them. I do a great deal of teaching during visits.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love to spend time with my family. I love to travel and camp. I do enjoy reading a book that is not medical. I like to spend time with friends. I enjoy shopping.
