Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose midwifery in order to help give women more control and autonomy in regards to healthcare decisions. It a privilege to get to work alongside women through all stages of life.

What I want my patients to know about me:

Women's health is my passion and making sure women feel understood and supported, whether in a general well woman's visit, to the birth of a child, I am excited to be a part of the process! Specific interests involve currently pursuing a certification as a menopause practitioner as well as a sexual assault nurse examiner, two areas I am interested in learning more about in order to further serve the women I provide care for.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I'm not seeing patients, I am spending time with friends and family. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and reading. I am also a new transplant to Pennsylvania from Texas and enjoy traveling all over the unfamiliar Northeast, with one of my favorites sites so far being Acadia National Park in Maine.
