Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have always had an interest in biology and science from a young age, and knew that I wanted to go into healthcare since high school. I decided to pursue being a nurse, and then a nurse practitioner, because I value the patient–nurse relationship and helping people achieve their healthcare goals.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am kind, compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. I like to be pro-active when dealing with my patient's healthcare concerns and needs, and enjoy developing long-term relationships with my patients.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love spending time with my family, especially my twin girls, and my dogs. I travel to Maine every year where you'll find me water-skiing, fishing, eating lobster, and traveling to the beautiful coastline. I also enjoy reading and having some quiet time, which is essential in keeping a work-life balance. My favorite book is "Pride and Prejudice" and my favorite movies are the "Indiana Jones" trilogy
